HUMANITY UNIFIED

HELLO again beautiful people! Its been so long since I last posted something and I am beyond excited to be back !  This year has been so incredible I have been so fortunate to be able to work on new projects, travel and meet the most amazing group of people. The more I travel and gain experience, the more I realize the needs in this world and how much action needs to be done. But realistically no matter how much I want to help out there’s only so much I could do alone. I know that if I truly want to serve others in need around the world the right way I need to be more educated and actually speak to people who have more experience than I do. I also know that when you do things with a group of people who understand your vision and have the same passion and love for the same thing you do, you can accomplish so much more together than you would alone.

I wanted to be part of a non-profit organization for quite some time now and even though there are so many incredible organizations there was honestly no organization that really caught my attention like Humanity Unified did .I have been following them since the beginning of my traveling journey and I just knew there was something so special about them.Their passion and compassion is contagious. If you follow them already you can feel the genuine love and passion they have for the families they serve.

What is Humanity Unified?!

Well I’m glad you asked.

Humanity Unified International is non-profit organization dedicated to lifting vulnerable populations out of poverty through education, food security programs, and economic opportunities such as entrepreneurship programs, vocational training and cooperatives. They currently have been working with women from a small village in Rwanda. 100% of the money they raise goes towards educating not only the women on their rights but also the men of these villages about the value of women and their society. The women from this village work long hours at a farming cooperate as a form of income but still fall short when it comes to providing more than one meal a day to their families or being able to send their children to school. These women make at least 87 cents a day. Donations also go towards giving these women quality seeds they need for their farming cooperative so they can grow and sell more crops and be able to have money to send their children to school, health care, have proper meals and a savings.

What makes Humanity Unified so special to me is that their main goal is to empower these groups of women to rise above poverty. Instead of giving them free aid which don't get me wrong it is also great and necessary I really like how Humanity Unified focuses on investing’ in these group of women and teaches them skills so they can accomplish their own dreams, start their own businesses and provide for their own families. Empowering these women empowers their families, their communities, and generations to come.

I have had the privilege to meet the co-founder of Humanity Unified, Maria Russo, and just being able to hear her story I can tell her passion and love for these women and that alone gives me so much faith in this organization. They have done such an incredible job with these groups of women and I am beyond grateful to be apart of this phenomenal team. I hope you will join me here on this journey to bring awareness to some very important issues. This is so special to me and I know that every action (big or small) counts

If you haven't already, please take the time to follow Humanity Unified on their website www.HumanityUnified.org and their social pages  to hear more stories of the women from these villages and ways you can get involved <3

Much love
